None is better than the other, in my opinion. Each house has their own strengths and weaknesses, which makes each of them equal. The real question is which ones suits each person best, and that's where they should be, right?
Besides, if we were able to choose which House we wanted, then the Sorting Hat would cease to be a Sorting Hat and would just be...well, Hat. XD
