this story is about a girl named Jessica Hichens who becomes friends with harry ron and hermione. she is 11 when she starts hogwarts. shes born on March 31. she has hazel eyes and shoulder length dark brown hair. shes known for always smiling but has an attitude when people make fun of her friends. hope you enjoy the story!!
HARRY
As I walked into Olivanders, there was an old man (who I guess is Olivander) helping a girl my age. They were in the middle of a conversation.
"Well miss.Hichens, this wand is nothing like any of the wands your ancestors had." said Olivander

Then she turned around and saw me. Her hair was dark brown and straight, she was smiling ear to ear. "Oh sorry, I'll leave now so you don't have to wait" she said to me. Still smiling, she left and I watched her leave. she seemed nice and she's really cute 'I hope she goes to Hogwarts' I thought
On the Hogwarts Express, all the compartments were full, then I came to one with only a girl reading in it.
"Mind if I sit here?" I said, she looked up from her book, she was the girl from Olivanders,(http://www.polyvore.com/hogwarts_express/set?id=35552924) She was reading a muggle mystery book and ofcourse she was smiling.
"Not at all' she said
JESSICA
The boy sitting across from me looked familiar, but from where? "wait, your that boy from Olivanders? right?" I said. He had messy black hair and emerald green. I'm afraid if I look at his eyes to long I'll start drooling. He was sooo cute!!
" Ya I'm Harry Potter." he said, oh my god it really was Harry Potter, It took everything I had not jump up and scream my head off and run and hug him just to say 'i hugged Harry Potter' He must not get treated normally to often so i decided to act cool
"Hi I'm uh..J-Jessica Hichens" crap he probably thinks i'm some idiot who doesn't remember her own name. A while later a red headed boy came
"Excuse me can i sit here everywhere else is full" he asked
"sure" me and harry said together
" i'm Ron by the way, Ron Weasley"
"Jessica Hichens"
"i'm Harry, Harry Potter"
"so its true then, do you really have the-the..." ron said stuttering and shocked
" the what?" said harry
"scar..." said ron then harry lifted his hair up so ron could see his lightning shaped scar. ron just stared in awe, then the trolley lady came, harry bought almost everything on the trolley. while ron and harry were pigging out on the sweets, i went back to reading my favorite Nancy Drew book. then a girl came in and criticized ron then fixed harry's glasses
"holy cricket, you're harry potter! i'm hermione granger and u are?" hermione asked ron
"ron weasley" ron said with his mouth full
"pleasure" she said sarcastically "you?" asked asked me
"jessica hichens"
"oh what are you reading?" she asked
"nancy drew, i love mystery books" i said then she whispered in my hear
"so whats a girl who likes to read doing in a compartment with a boy like that" hermione said a tilted her head towards ron
"i was here first then he kinda just took over" i said and with both gigled,At that moment she was officially my best friend. ron was looking at me confused which made me laugh even harder
Hermione got up was about to leave when she said to ron "you've got dirt on your by the way, just there" then she walked away ,ron tried to wipe the dirt off
"still there" i said giggling
When we got off the train, a man three times my size was calling "first years over hear" and the he directed us to the boat to take us to the castle, there was lots of "ohhh"s and "ahhh"s and "wooow"s when we saw the castle because it was HUGE! there are probably thousands of passage ways in that castle.
I was in a boat with harry and ron " wanna bet ill get lost 10 times in the first week" i said and they laughed. I had a good feeling this was going to be a good year!
