iPod trouble...HELP!!!!!!!
IPOD INFORMATION
my iPod is a 2nd generation 8gb iPod touch. i had it for a little over 1.5 years.
Ok, so here's the story.
Yesterday, I was being attacked and my iPod fell out of a stupid pocket of my stupid white pants (around 1 pm). It hit the ground and the screen got cracked (just one crack). It was working fine though. I checked my email and texted some people when I got home (around 3 pm), and checked my email again before dinner (around 8 pm). I left it in the charger when it was completely charged while eating dinner. Before I went to bed, which was around 9:45 pm, I got my iPod out of the charger and found that it wouldn't turn on. I pressed the on/off button for a few seconds, nothing happened. I left it in the charger, nothing happened. I tried hooking it up to the computer, and it says "device not recognized." what do I do to turn it back on?

Wait what? You shouldn't be worrying about your iPod! You should be worried about being attacked :O

Hmmm... I'm not sure.. I'd just leave it for a few days..
I have the same time of iPod and mine fell in the pool last year... I left it in a bag of rice for a few days and it worked fine after.

Probably nothing... When it fell you might have caused internal damage or loosened something inside and when you charged it it could have broke something inside): sorry
tell someone and go to the apple store
