No Inspiration Whatsoever
For my English class, I had a summer reading book that I had to read this summer (Lol odviously)....And I read it. But instead of my teacher giving a test on it like any other teacher, she decided to give us a little project on it. So now I have to write an extra chapter for the book, showing what happens to the main characters after the book ends...There is just one problem...I haven't written anything in 2 years! How am I suppose to suddenly jump back into something that I stopped years ago?

maybe like just add something extra. like for percy jackson, how they got back to camp and what they did. and such and ect.
Um, a way to get back into writing is to imagine an ending you would prefer and then write down the basic outline of what you want to happen. Then fill in the details in between and write it out.

I agree with Dramanerd3. Write an ending that you would've preferred to be in the book. Also, you could go more into the life of one of the less major characters. They're easier to write about than the main ones, because you can be a bit creative with their personality :) Hope I helped! Good luck with the project!!
