What would you do, if the love of your life, forgot you?
He was so deep in grief, that he blocked out everyone, after the war. Once Fred died, he never wanted to speak to anyone, even me. I was tortured that day, but he never knew. Because when Fred was killed, he simply wanted to kill death eaters for him.
So he forgot me.
Only for one day. I looked for him afterwards, but he was gone. I went to the jokeshop, but it was shut. None of my owls ever received replies. Mrs Weasley, Ginny, Ron and the rest of them promised to tell him that I called round every day.
So he forgot me, for a month. Then two months. Then a year. But I never stopped waiting. For all that time, he hadn't ventured out of his room. Healers from Mungo's where called round, but they never did anything.
One day, I was calling round, as usual. As I made my way up the muddy path, I heard a rustle in the bushes. Looking round, I dismissed it as a gnome. I pulled out a watch, and checked it.
But that was the last thing I ever did.
