9-11
:'(
Chapter 1
September 11, 2001
Ok, so I know a TON of people are doing this, but rightly so. I'll just do my share.
I hope we never forget what happened on this tragic day in history, 2001. Let us always remember and pray for those who died in the buildings or in the plane crashes. Also remember and pray for those still grieving over their losses that day.
Whether they were in the plane crashes in Pennsylvania and other places, the Twin Towers, or the Pentagon, firefighters, policemen, EMTs, citizens, pedestrians, or those employed in the towers, let us remember them all. Let us give thanks for those who survived, and to cherish life because it truly is the greatest gift of all.
Also remember and thank the policemen and women, firefighters, etc. who helped in that crisis. Let us be glad that America has such brave souls, and forever remember them as heroes.
I was only two years old, almost three, so I don't remember any of it. My brother(almost two years older than me) says he can remember seeing it on TV.
I offer my greatest condolences to those who lost a loved one on that day. We can only hope that the measures we have taken with security will pay off in the long run, so that nothing like 9-11 will ever happen again.
Sincerely,
~Darby

My heart and prayers goes out to those who were affected by 9/11...
It was truly an awful thing...
It reminds us of how blessed we really are and that we're all really not that different... :)
