Devastation of 9/11
Chapter 1
September 11, 2001
It felt as if the world stopped,
Just for a second.
But that's all it took,
Seconds.
For so much damage to begin,
And come into effect.
First glance: So unreal.
It looks like something you expect from a movie.
But it's real,
As well as the lives lost.
And the pain that followed.
Even ten years later the pain is still there.
But why did it have to happen?
For what?
So many innocent lives lost.
It's just pure evil.
The act was unforgivable,
Unforgettable,
And believable.
No,
It's not unbelievable.
Because it's real,
And it happened.
It's real to those who witnessed.
To those who lost loved ones.
Real to those on the planes.
It's a real tear-shed moment in American history,
For the pain will take long to go away.
But we held strong.
Even through the bitter crime,
We pulled together,
And got through it.
Some people may think of us being ignorant,
Or Prideful,
For we think our country is the greatest in the world.
But this showed that America really is great,
For we didn't just crumble apart,
We made it through.
Made it with flying colors.
Red, white, and blue.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For all the victims of 9/11 and their famalies. May God bless them. I give my deepest, most sincere apologies I can ever make. I don't know anyone who was even hurt or killed in this tragic event and it hurts my heart, so I know the pain for you has to be way worse. I'm sorry, I honestly wish that there was a way to make all the pain go away. God bless.

Nice poem! :)
oh wow this is kinda sad. i couldnt imagine losing a loved one, or how i would feel.
god bless for those who actually did lose loved ones.
We all need to be thankful for the loved ones we have. I hate hearing kids complain about stuff like "My mom isn't letting me go to the party." or "My dad is so lame, he won't even drive me to the bowling alley." or things like that. They have no idea how these kids out here feel that lost their parent on 9/11. They wish so badly to have their dad be there to tell them they can't go to a party. RIP those who lost their lives. My
Yeah I know what your saying.
I don't like stuff like that either.
Even if my family gets on my nerves,
I always know they're the best thing I
have in this life, so I try to embrace that.
Though I don't always succeed.
So many innocent lives lost,it is very sad and heartbreaking. Parents,Sisters, and Brothas died on that plane. They had kids, nieces and nephews. It's not a good pain to hold on to. God bless the lives of those. Also,Death is not the hardest thing though, dieing inside is.
