The Olympian Academy
I know this might seem like a copy of Percy Jackson, but I really like this and it was, for the most part, an original idea. So if you don't like it, or think I stole the idea, please don't comment. I understand you might think that, you don't have to tell me.
Chapter 1
Back to School
I am Apollo's Daughter.
I was sitting on my back porch, looking at the stars. I wish I could meet my sisters, but even more, I wished I could meet my dad. I lived with my aunt and my cousin, Jessie. It was okay, like sometimes I had friends over, but my aunt didn't like it. She said they were too loud. I don't think that's why she didn't like them, though.
Jessie came out onto the porch, and sat next to me. She was a year older than I was, and liked to rub it in my face. "Well," she said, "Me and my friends are going out for dinner. You're welcome to come with us." I rolled my eyes. "Yeah, I think I'll pass." She stood up. "Suit yourself." she turned around and went back into the house.
I decided to go for a walk. I got up, wandered out into the road, and started walking. I didn't how long I walked, or how far. I stopped for a moment, and looked around. My house was nowhere to be seen. I started to get worried and walked back where I had from, when a car approached. The window went down, and there was a girl in the driver's seat. She had dirty-blonde hair and was wearing sunglasses, a pink tank top, and a white scarf. "Hey." she said. "Where have you been?" she acted like we were close friends, even though I had never seen her before in my life.
"Um, who are you?" The girl laughed. "Well, I'm your one-way ticket to the best time of your life. The name's Lina, daughter of Aphrodite." I froze, then stepped back. "You, you're...."
"Yep! And I hear you're a child of.....Athena? Was it Athena?"
"Apollo."
"Right. Ready to go?"
"Go where?"
I didn't really trust this girl. She was a demi-god, and I didn't want anything to do with demi-gods. I mean, I know I'm one, but I didn't want to be. Nobody knew about it, so how did she find out? "Listen, sweetie, We're going to school. A good one. I was sent to get you, so come on." I was about to refuse, when suddenly, I wanted to go. Wherever it was, it sounded great! I nodded, got in the car, and the girl drove us.
It was sunrise by the time we got there. I started to regret coming here, when suddenly I realized, the girl had used charm speak! I was furious, and stomped out of the car, so oblivious of everything else I ran into someone. "Hey!" The person said. "Watch where you're going!" The girl had curly brown hair and green eyes. I noticed as she walked away, her hands caught on fire. I guess this was a place for demi-gods.
Lina got out of the car, seeming pleased with herself. She looked at me, and smiled. "Come on! It's time for you to meet the principal!" She walked ahead of me, and I slowly followed. I can't believe what I had gotten myself into.
