-The radish earrings Luna Lovegood wears were actually made by Evanna Lynch.
-The Hogwarts motto, "Draco dormiens nunquam titillandus" means "never tickle a sleeping dragon".
-many Harry Potter fans went to see Scooby Doo, just so they could see the Chamber of Secrets trailer
-One of the portraits in Dumbedores office, in the Chamber of Secrets is of Gandalf the Grey.
-14 Ford Anglias were destroyed while filming the whomping willow scene.
-Nicholas Flamel was a real person and is believed to be still alive.
-The underwater set in the Goblet of Fire is the biggest Underwater set ever used, it can hold up to 500,000 litres.

Oh, and another random fact: J. K. Rowling didn't mean to use King's Cross Station. She meant to use the one that is shown in the flims, because if you visit King's Cross Station, the...what do you call them? Those column-things that they run through to get to 9 3/4? Those things, whatever they are, are about two inches wide at King's Cross--which means you can't run through them! XD

Did you know Harry Potter has green eyes, but if you look at Daniel Radcliffe he has blue eyes. They tried colored contacts the first day of shooting (it was the train scene at the end of the first movie), but contacts irritate Dan's eyes, so they gave up on it.
