Have you ever...?
Just some thoughts that I had about perception the other day.
Have you ever wondered if everyone has a different sense of color? That everyone sees colors differently? That your yellow might be someone else's version of red. But because its the color that you've been taught it is you never know the difference. For example, lets say that you look at a red apple. You're going to call that color red because its what you've been taught red looks like. But what if the color you see as red, looks like your yellow to someone else, yet they still call it red because that's what they've been taught red looks like. Maybe everybody has a different perception of color, but because we've been taught our colors since childhood we could never be able to distinguish whether my red looks the same as your red, or if it is indeed a different color altogether.

i've actuly though of that sorta thing alot. and who decided that red was red? and how did everybody learn it that way? how did that one person convince all of us that its called red or for the matter of fact that, the apple is an apple and not a mango or a book or sjdhgkjsxgkjzsxvfgkhj? hahaha. :)
Not exactly what I was talking about, but I see your point. What I'm talking about is not the naming, but the actual perception. What looks blue to you may look red to me, but we both call that color yellow. That kind of thing
Actually, they've proven that it's true. Not quite to that degree, but still...
