Have you ever heard of/seen Flight of the Conchords?
REALLY funny show, used to be on HBO
Bret's the one on the left, Jemaine is on the right
Chapter 1
YOKO
It's a really funny show, I just discovered it, even though it's from a couple years ago. Anyway, it's about this lame little band made up of two friends, Bret and Jemaine. They're from New Zealand, and they have really funny accents too. Bret sounds like Brit. They have one fan, a creepy obsessed lady named Mel, (who is married). Their 'band manager' works in an office, so they use it during his break to hold 'band meetings'.
Their songs are made to be stupid and weird, but some of them are actually really creative and well done.
There are lots of musical references, Fleetwood Mac's love triangle/square, their album Rumours, one episode they get 'mugged', by a "pyscho killer! Qu'est que c'est?" Haha, get it from the Talking Heads song? That was one of my favorite lines. Anyway, the main reason for all of this is to tell you about one episode called 'Yoko'.
Bret gets a girlfriend named Coco, and Jemaine goes on all the dates with them and feels left out. Bret writes a song for her called 'If that's what you're into' I think, look it up, it's hilarious I think. But Bret tells Jemaine that he can't go on any dates with them so he's bummed. He goes to the manager, Murray, and he likens Coco to Yoko. He starts asking funny questions like Is she an artist? Does she like staying in bed? Does she like peace? Anyway, so they hold a band meeting and Jemaine

There's also another catchy song in Yoko episode called tape of love.
Anyway, I recommend you see it, if you can find the full episode anywhere!!!!

There's also an episode where Bret has dreams of David Bowie, also funny!
