Where Have You Been All My Life? (A Joey Richter Love Story)
I would suggest watching all the Starkid productions, including A Very Potter Musical, MAMD, Starship and A Very Potter Sequel. Enjoy!
Chapter 1
Potter Crazed
It was freezing. I was huddled up in line for tickets to the new Harry Potter movie. My friend, Hayley, was in love with anything and everything Potter. She wrote and read fan fics, watched every video about Harry Potter on YouTube and she even had the first book memorized by heart. So of course, I wasn't surprised when she asked me to come wait in line with her. It was the first night tickets were on sale, and Hayley would literally kill for midnight tickets. Though, I was surprised by this random blizzard. That's Chicago for you! I shuttered and Hayley said, "I'm gonna go up and ask how much longer they think it's gonna be." Even though this would be the eighth time she asked, I just nodded. Apparently the ticket printer was busted, but instead of leaving like most people, we stood in line at the ticket booth.
I heard a voice; "Want my jacket? You look frozen." Most people were too cold to talk, myself included, but I turned to see a guy smiling at me, handing me his jacket. As I looked into his brown eyes, I smiled and said, "Thank, but won't you be cold?" He shrugged and said, holding up a bag, "I packed extras. I figured it would be pretty cold, so I came prepared." I gladly took his coat and said, "Smart. Thanks." He smiled and said, "No problem. We can't have pretty girls freezing to death." I blushed and said, hoping he wouldn't notice, "So you're a Potter fan?" He chuckled and said, "Naw, I always spend my thursday nights standing in random lines in freezing cold weather." I laughed and said, "Just trying to make conversation." He smiled and said, "Well then yes, I am a diehard Potter fan. You?" I shrugged and said, "I mean, I've read all the book and seen all the movies, but my friend is the real Potterhead." Suddenly, the line started moving.
Hayley ran back, saying, "The guys printing tickets had no idea how to refill the ink! Idiots, I swear. But the line should be moving faste-" She stopped mid sentence, staring at the guy who gave me his jacket. He smirked and said, with a cute little wave, "Howdy." She took a sharp breath in and said, looking at me, "Michelle, do you know who this is?" I looked at him and shook my head. "Should I?" Ignoring my question, she looked at my jacket. "Is this his?!" "Yes! Now what's the big deal?" The guy put his hand out and said, "I don't think we formally met." I smiled and said, taking it, "Oh yea, I'm Michelle Johnson." He smiled.
"Nice to meet you, Michelle. I'm Joey Richter."
