The gravel underneath the wheels seemed to be racing along itself as the plane sliced through every grain vigorously, invincibly. This is too much, I thought.
I was certain that I was close to vomiting. I leant forward in preparation for the worst, but instantly, as the wheels lifted off the ground, I became awe-stricken. The deviation in height had resulted in deviation of pressure, and also a magnificent view that immediately soothed me, although I knew that I was leaving, going, somewhere far, far away from this place I knew now and forever before.
Elevation misted the ground underneath with powdery dust, making its mapping increasingly illegible. Before long, clouds were respiring beneath us and the ground was too low for us to even identify its presence. We were off, and we were all sure of it.
