Wild~ A Legolas Love Story
Hello humans! I know I've made one of these before but it is enjoyable. I'm still not sure about most of this stuff so I bet most of it will be wrong. Let me know if you notice the mistakes, but otherwise ENJOY!
Chapter 1
The Runaway
I felt the air nipping at my bare skin as I sped through the forest. Aria, my horse, galloped faster as I whispered in her ear. This is my fifth flee of the day. Apparently orcs do not like me, or me steeling their food. I pushed into the forest of Lothlorien without thinking. I felt the low leaves whipping at my cheeks and realized where I was. I hopped down lightly from my saddke and drew my bow. I heard the light steps of an elf and distant voices, but even with my elf ears I could not understand the whispers. I spun around and around in the beautiful forest searching for signs of life. Then I heard it. I spun round as fast as I could and came face to face with anothers arrow. A tall elf, manly with blonde hair wearing light blue and white leather armor. I lowered my bow, realizing who he must be.
"Ya ier lle?" (who are you) He hissed.
"Sethiel." I whispered.
I am usually guarded but sure that these elves would not hurt me. His eyes widened and his mouth hung slightly open.
"Sethiel, Hidden Queen?" He asked.
I nodded. I do not know where this name came from. All I know is that I have been on the run since I was little and am constantly hidding. I don't know my parents or where they came from, but apparently they were rather high up. Therefore, they name me Hidden Queen.
"You must meet My Lady." He whispered.
I nodded again and went to saddle Aria when he grabbed my foot.
"No. You shall not ride." He said.
"Why!? I'm not running off! I'm being chased, I want as much protection as I can get!" I complained.
I was weird this way. When others were stiff and proud I just did not care. I have no one to live up to and nothing to gain or loose. He shook his head simply and I let it go. Though I tightly gripped Aria's reins as if ready to jump at any moment. It took a while but we finally arrived at the amazing city of Lothlorien and I waited to be greeted by Galadriel and Celeborn. They seemed slightly suprised to see me.
"Sethiel, Hidden Queen." Galadriel said with a knowing smile.
I nodded.
"You seek our protection. You want a night to regain strength." Celeborn stated.
I nodded simply. That was all we talked. Haldir took me to a room and Aria went to the stables. I fell asleep easy that night, knowing I was safe for at least 12 hours.
I awoke early the next morning and decided it was time to leave. I quickly dressed into my black tights, back singlet, dark green boots and dark green leather armor, finishing my outfit with my green cloak. I strapped my bow and quiver to my back and stuck my two daggers in the sides of my belt. I was ready. I left out of the door and down the tree. Just as I hit the ground I ran into Galadriel.
"Farewell My Lady." I said, bowing slightly.
"Farewell Sethiel, but before you leave I want you to take this." She said softly.
She handed me a small crystal bottle with a glowing silver liquid inside. I held it up inquisitively.
"Essence of Life. Use it once, use it carefully." She explained.
I nodded and stashed it safely in my bag.
"Thank you My Lady." I said.
She then swept away. I ran off to the stables to get Aria when I ran into another, Haldir. He followed me to help me get Aria.
"What is it like, living as a nomad?" He asked.
I looked at him in shock.
"Nomad!? Why call me that!?" I quizzed.
He looked taken back.
"Sorry if it offended you. It is just what many call you." He said.
I nodded.
"It is feels good at times and painful others. I live freely, I travel where I want kill who I wish and do what I need. But I do not heal easily, I jhave a high chance of dying the way I live." I explained.
By this time we were at the stables.
"It sounds interesting, but scary." He stated.
"Thank you for caring for my horse. Farewell." I said.
I saddled my horse easily and whispered in her ear. She took off as fast as she could and ran along the river.

I packed my bag and weapons, ready to go off with Frodo and the others. I was slightly frustrated with myself for doing this. I wanted to protect my people and help destroy the ring but it would most likely cost me my life. Though I was a skilled archer and good at sword fighting I do not know if I would be able to handle it. I very much wanted another elf in the Fellowship.
"Legolas."
I heard my name and snapped back into reality.
"Yes?" I asked.
"We must set off now." Aragorn said.
I nodded and strapped the last of the bags to the horse. Soon the four little hobbits came out followed by the dwarf, Boromir and Gandalf. They were each armed and ready to face whatever was out there. Though they did not know how bad it was. We farewelled Elrond and Arwen and set off on the long journey. After an hour or so Pippin began to complain.
"We haven't had second breakfast yet!" He called.
"You don't need it." Aragorn said.
I rolled my eyes and ran ahead further. I looked out upon the baren grass lands. I saw a high rocky place, hidden from others and easy to camp at.
"Aragorn! Up ahead." I called.
He ran over and looked up to the rocky mountain.
"We will camp here tonight!" He called back to the others.
"Splendid!" Gandalf said, with a crookid smile.
I ran over and began with the fire.
