It'd been three hours since our breakup. He was the one that called me and said that he wanted to break up, and I said yes and that I understood.

Flashback

"Lia, I have something to tell you..."

"What is it?"

"I... Don't feel like I love you anymore. I want to break up."

"Oh, that's... fine... I understand... Thank you for telling me now instead of later."

"Okay, bye."

"Bye." I said, but he had already hung up.

It took me a while to realize what I had just said.

Did I really just say that I understood why he broke up with me? I thought. What have I /done?!?!/

End of flashback

I'm going to have a messed-up life from now on. I know it, I thought to myself that night.
