Chapter 1
My Semi-Delusional Life...I Think. Selena's P.O.V.
I thought I would never know who I was. I know better now, of course, having gone through nine years of intense training at Filline's School and Training Camp. But, I really was unaware of who I would be at the age of nine.
I went to a normal public school, had normal friends, normal behavior, the normal goody girl. Great grades, despite my poor home life. Then, on my seventh birthday, all heck broke loose. I could make people feel things, make them hurt even. I had a sudden interest in vampires and witchcraft, staying up late to research on the internet. I couldn't be near accidents with blood, it was too much for me to handle. I wanted to hurt...to kill.
I thought I was hallucinating when he came. I was in the middle of Boston, minding my own business when a man came up to me, he was about six-two with balding blonde hair and green eyes. He told me that there was one person like me, with dark powers. I didn't believe him at first, but after a while I started to accept that I was different. He told me to go to Borneo, and I gladly accepted, and left the workhouse that afternoon.
