Entwining Paths. (Remus Lupin love Story, Maraurder Era)

I woke up in the morning, I seen Lily was awake getting ready, I yawned,

"What are you getting dressed up for?" I asked and stretched,

"James and I have a date right after school, then he said he had to leave right before dinner" she smiled excitedly and put on some mascara. I sighed and put on (http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=42001548). Lily groaned when she saw me, I frowned at her,

"What?!" I asked and looked at myself in the mirror, I looked like I normally did.

"For one, You can pull off heels because you have amazing legs and secondly how do you look so stunning all the time! It's just not fair!" Lily pouted and turned back to her make up. I put some nude lip gloss on to top my look off, if only I could get rid of the sun glasses...

"Come on Lil, I don't look that amazing. I have to wear sunglasses because of my eyes! You're the lucky one!" I said and took off my sunglasses. My eyes were changing colors already, now, instead of my green eyes, they where light brown. But nightfall they will have turned black. Lily finished and came and sat on my bed,

"I wish you didn't have to leave tonight, I hate the Full Moons..." She said and I looked at her,

"I hate them too, more than you know"

"Maybe I can come with you tonight! I can keep you company!" Lily exclaimed and I looked at her, instantly infuriated,

"Don't you ever say that! If I catch you following me I will kill you, Lily! Never ever will you mention that idea again!" I yelled and walked out of the dormitories angry that Lily felt bad for me and wanted to keep my company. That was out of the question. I walked down to breakfast alone, when I got into the Great Hall Professor Slughorn stopped me.

"Here's to stop the pain, it's the best thing for you" he said and walked away, I looked at it and shrugged.

I ate slowly, I didn't even want breakfast but I had to look normal. I poured the vile into my pumpkin juice and drank quickly, God it was horrible.

"Kenadee, Babe, slow down with the drinking!" Sirius said putting his arm around my shoulders. I shrugged his arm off and smirked,

"I'm addicted, what can I say?" I laughed, James and Remus came in. I had no idea were Peter was, nor did I care. Remus sat next to me and James went to find Lily when I told him what happened. James was mad at me.

"They said you can come with us if you want..." Moony whispered and took a bite of bacon, I smiled,

"That would be awesome! Did you take your potion?" I asked and Moony nodded, we ate in silence for a little while.

"Watch out for Malfoy, Kenadee. It looks like he's planning something" Sirius said and pointed at Luscious Malfoy with is dimwitted friends. I sighed,

"As long as they don't make me too terribly mad I won't change" I said and ate my last bite of hash browns. Sirius and Moony looked at me, "If it's the day of the Full Moon I can change because of overwhelming anger, then it's a problem because it's daytime and I'll find myself in the forbidden forest for shade."

Moony shook his head and gave me a hug, I shivered and he took off his robes,

"Don't worry about me, you keep it" I said and then took a deep, calming breath as Malfoy and his gang walked over to us.

"What are you doing here Malfoy?" I snarled and Malfoy just smirked, just looking at him bugged me.

"Well, Jacobson, I heard that you've been sleeping around" He sneered

"What are you talking about?" I asked and stood up to look him dead in the eyes.

"Oh you know, the whole Slytherin Quiddich team had stories to tell" He said and I gasped, why would he lie about that! I would never do anything with a Slytherin,

"Okay, here's the deal, Malformed, get your slimy, disgusting, perverted face out of my life and I'll leave you alone. Got it?" I said and Malfoy grimaced when I used his nickname "Malformed". He put his hand up to push me,

"Touch me and you die Luscious!" I shouted and people were gathering around now. Malfoy, like usual, did what he shouldn't have done and pushed me into Moony. I got my footing back and I reached out and grabbed Luscious by the collar of his robes. I shoved him to the ground, I turned to Moony,

"I-I have to get out of here! Tell Professor Dumbledore!" I shouted and ran out of the Great Hall, hurrying to get outside before I changed.

-Remus's Point of View-

"I-I have to get out of here! Tell Professor Dumbledore!" Kenny shouted and ran out of the castle, I ran right into Professor Mcgonagal, she looked panic stricken.

"What should I do?!" She cried,

"Get professor Dumbledore! Tell him what happened!" I said and then ran outside to try and see if I could keep my eye on Kenny. I was too late because all of her clothes were in a pile by the forest. She had changed already.

Hours later Professor Dumbledore came into my Transfiguration class and pulled the Maraurders and Lily out of class. Lily cried when Dumbledore said they had found Kenadee hurt, she had changed back into a human and was unconscious. James looked guilty and Sirius looked like he might cry. But if I could have looked at myself I probably looked the worst. I felt terrible for not going after her sooner, I could have stopped her.

"Oh my God, Ken..." Lily gasped and ran up to Kenadee's body, it was obvious that she was going to be out for a long time. Kenadee had a lot of injuries, she looked horrible because the Nurse didn't get all the blood off of her yet. It looked like she had gotten cut up, I felt sick when I came closer, you could see all the muscle and fat in the open wound on her stomach.

"Will they heel?" I asked numbly,

"All of then except the one on her stomach, that one will always be there" Dumbledore said and I groaned and collapsed on the ground beside her bed. Sirius was crying and James was trying to calm Lily down, looking extremely guilty.

"You all can stay here for an hour, then you should leave." Dumbledore said and exited the Hopspital Wing. We all looked at each other, James spoke first,

"I guess we didn't know how much we cared for her until something bad happened. I was cold shouldered to her this morning which probably didn't help... This" James said looking down at Kenny's body.

"Malfoy is going to pay!" Sirius said and hit the wall as hard as he could, I shook my head.

"Kenny wouldn't like that, she'll get him back herself when she's better" I said and sat down on the bed next to her, "I feel bad because I could have stopped her" I whispered and tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear. James put his hand on my shoulder,

"You did what was right, she wouldn't want you getting hurt, Remus" Sirius nodded and so did Lily. There was a moment of silence and then Kenadee mumbled something,

"M-moon-y"
