Into_Alesana_: 01-05-2012 at 9:41 PMhm..... Escape the Fate? This War is Ours album and the Escape the Fate album.
the other albums are with Ronnie Radke, and he sucked.

Mischiefs: 01-05-2012 at 9:42 PMDisturbed
Angelica_Rose: 01-05-2012 at 10:11 PMDisturbed is awesome!
Breaking Benjamin
Hell YEAH
DUH...KORN!!!
m3rcy616: 01-06-2012 at 2:58 AMhere. I have some actual doom metal bands for you:
Candlemass
Ghost
Boris
Paradise Lost (their first two albums, 'Lost Paradise' and 'Gothic' are the albums with doom metal influence.)
Black Metal:
Venom
Bathory
Hellhammer
Mayhem
Darkthrone
Stoner Metal:
High on Fire
Down
The Sword
...that aughta to it for a few suggestions.
m3rcy616: 01-06-2012 at 3:04 AMalso. to those who commented before me:
Escape he fate is not metal. They're a post-hardcore band.
Breaking Benjamin is a good band, but they're more like a grunge/hard rock band.
Disturbed is commercial enough that it doesn't make a good suggestion for someone looknig for something new
and Korn is numetal.
If you guys don't actually listen to metal, it's probably best to not answer someone looking for real metal.
(other noe: I was gonna suggest Trouble, then I noticed the icon.)

m3rcy616: 01-06-2012 at 3:10 AMOne last comment.....I realize I'm blowing up the comments here, but one last thing you might find helpful.... a list of doom metal bands, there are more than 700 bands in the list:
http://www.spirit-of-metal.com/liste_groupe-style-Doom_Metal-l-en.html
If the ones i listed already before are bands you already know (and if Doom metal is your fave, then you most likely have. There are definitely some new bands in the list.)
PeaceableBird: 01-06-2012 at 7:49 PMList Of Metal Band Suggestion:
- Trivium (Metalcore)
- Skyfire (Melodic Death Metal)

Lich_Money: 01-20-2012 at 8:33 PMIn Flames (Melodic Death Metal)
Rammstein (Industrial Metal--though you probably knew this one...)
InSilence (Progressive Metal)
Prototype (Progressive Metal)
Dream Theatre (Progressive Metal)
Kamelot (Power/Progressive metal)
Blue Stahli (Industrial Metal)
Even though it isn't QUITE metal, I'd also recommend Coheed and Cambria, which comes close to prog metal)
And...wow, I'm not as into metal as I used to be...
There's some more
Lich_Money: 01-20-2012 at 8:33 PMOh! Also, Killswich Engage. (Another you probably knew, but...)
