The Howling
This story is about Amber Alexis Aratz. She was babysitting when a few friends come and invite her on a camping trip, she and Rachel,her best friend, agree to go. When her friends start to argue she leaves them to hike alone. She heard a noise and seen something un-belivable before she blacked out.Nothing can prepare her for what happens when she awakes, meeting 2 new camp friends Jacob and Lizzie. What are they? But most important, why couldnt Amber stop feeling a pull towards new comer Jacob?
"Thank-you so much for helping me babysit"Rachel said in a relief tone.
"how could I not? You begged, pleaded and plus JJ is an angel" I responded tickling JJ on his tummy causing him to go into a fit of laughter. Rachel nodded her head in agreement.
"Wanna go to the park before it gets to cold?" She asked picking up JJ's red and blue coat. I nodded before grabing my own, deep royal blue, coat.
We walked outside and strapped JJ into his stroler. After we began walking.
"Its so errie," Rachel muffeled into her scarf that was wraped around her mouth."Kids are always running arond" She finished kicking a rock slightly.
"They're just wimps. Its to cold so they stay inside." I told her not wanting her to know I was also felling errie about it. The park finally came into view and we stopped.
"Maybe we should head back,JJ already has a cold. He might get the flu and my aunt would kill me." She said turning around to walk back home. I stood looking at the park,watching the swings sway back in forth from the wind. I finally turned and jogged back to Rachel.
For the rest of the night we played with JJ until it was his bed time then we put him to bed. After, me and Rachel went over to the movie case to pick out a horror. We decided on Mirrors and sat on the couch with snacks surrounding us.
We were part way through the movie when we heard a knock on the door. We looked at the clock telling us it was midnight. I got up and answered the door, knowing it was our friends here for movie night. As soon as i opened the door I smiled at my friends. Ronni broke the silence.
"Hey, hey, hey its fat Albert!" he yelled we all broke into a storm of laughter. I stood aside to let them in. Danny ploped down on the couch next to Rachel as she turned to use him for a pillow.
"Whats our genre for tonight?" Aleea asked taking a seat next to the love birds.
"Horror. We are finishing up Mirrors since you guys were late" Rachel said faking a stern look on her face.
"Sorry. But i was wondering if you girls wanted to come with us on a camping trip up the mountains?" Ronni asked shoving a handful of BBQ chips into his mouth.
"We're in." Rachel said knowing I was totally up for it. They nodded to say 'good cause you had no choice' and watched the rest of the movie.
They ended up staying...like always.At 6 we wee all asleep. We awoke at 3 to see Rachel at the door with JJ in her hands.
"Bye love you too." She called,closing the door. After, we all got ready for our camping trip we were all ready at 5. When we finally got there I was stunned. It was beautiful! Ronni noticed.
"Told you it was gonna be epic" He said, crushing me in a big brother bear hug.
After we were all settled we decided to go hiking. Right when we got to a three way trail there was LOTS of arguing. I didnt feel like waiting so I left without saying. I took the trail closest to the right. I was 30 minutes into my trail when i heard a growl. I turned to see a 8 foot sandy brown wolf glaring at me. It was about to pounce, but just before it touched me, I saw another jet black wolf. After that darkness completly...took over.
