Game of Chance: An HG fanfic
I need characters.
No Mary Sues.
Before posting, google Mary Sue Litmus Test and try your character.

Name: (hint for names: kids are often named after a noun: Primrose, Gale, Glimmer, Peeta -pita bread-)

Age
Looks: I am going to be a bit harsh here. No one who has gone through up to eighteen years of starvation will look very pretty. Give that some thought.
Personality: Give both positive and negative traits.
Strengths: up to two strengths.
Weaknesses: real ones. No "Hates bugs". Unless I decide to use Tracker Jackers, they're fine. I need real ones, like "can't swim" "asthma" etc., etc., etc.
Additional info: anything that doesn't fit into the others, like tokens, chariot costumes, family, etc.

Additional info: token is an ankle bracelet, and can she volunteer for her friend, Lanny Brown, who is 12? Oh, she will ally with 11,12, her district partner, and anyone her age
She sounds like a Mary Sue. Please revise your character.
Ex: she cannot have that many friends realistically. She is also far too pretty for one living in a post-apocalyptic world. Think about that. Red is a natural shade of hair, unless you mean bright red like a flower or blood. If that is the case, I will not accept her.
I speciffically said "both positive and negative traits". Make her have some negative qualities or I will make some up for her, if you cannot think of any good ones. Thanks.
I also noticed you gave her five strengths. I said, "two at most". Most people in the humger games are not fighters like Katniss, and have no expirience. Only two strengths, please.
Her personality is clashing. She cannot be mysterious and sweet, or friemdly and shy. She is in a death arena with a one in twenty four chance of surviving.

Looks:Damaged brown hair with hazel blue eyes. Kinds short, skin and bones. Fingernails are short and her nose is crooked.
Personality: Extremely shy, but wants to know people so badly. She is very gullible and she cant hear very well.

Weaknesses: Cant climb trees because she is afraid of heights. She has terrible eye coordination.

Can you think of a less mainstream last name? that one sounds a bit too unlikey to be a real last name.

Age: Seventeen
Looks: Has severe albinism, almost no pigment in hair, very pale. Eyes are grayish, sometimes look purple due to albinism. Tall and skinny.
Personality: Lazy and childish. Likes to eat.
Strengths: Moderately strong and quite clever. (Though rarely applies it.)
Weaknesses: Gives up immediately if he thinks that something is too hard. Pretty slow and can't react quickly to the faster tributes. Bad eyesight.

And how do you pronounce that?
Shah-tahn Choh-reh. (The 'ch' is pronounced like it is in Hebrew; a guttural sound made in the back of the throat. The only word in English that I can think of right now that has it is 'yecch'.)
So, I can pronounce the Ch like in French, and his first like in Russian? Okay. Sorry, I know zilch Hebrew, so comparing it to the less common way of pronouncing it in French is easier for me.
I'm also thinking of summin along the lines of sunburn.

I'll definitely be reading this fanfic after I read your replies to people! I mean, most writers that asked for characters couldn't tell people that their characters are Mary Sue's, (to which they are) and just try to write it along... I'll be looking forward for this one!
