Heart_And_Seoul: 01-13-2012 at 12:02 AMI mean seriously, it's worse than with Dobby. Just about everyone I've met LOVES Snape if they like the Harry Potter series. Every one of them cried when Snape died--both in the books AND in the theatres (like with Dobby! 0.o). I just don't get it!!
Regardless, for the entire series Snape is not the best guy, he's awful in many instances. Then all the sudden, at the last minute we're given his life story and supposed to be upset and love Snape, forgetting everything else. 0_o I don't get it!?!?

My relationship with Snape was like this.
HATE HIM, I really hate Snape. GET OVER IT YOU BASTARD LILY DIDN'T WANT YOU, you called her a mudblood. I want to punch you in the face right now!
I know you loved her.
Then it was all, aww Snape. Because in some ways he was always trying to help and protect Harry even if he was a douche on most ocasions.
So I did start to love him after that.

Then it changed because he found out these things about that actually made him a better guy. And If Harry can get over it why can't we?

I Love/Hate Snape.
What he did for Harry was great and all... And his love for Lily was adorable...
But the way he tormented Harry, Ron, Hermione and especially Neville was so not right,
So yeah.
Snape is okay.

I absolutely hate Snape. It's like this:
After years and years of hating him so much you want to strangle him, you can't just suddenly love him because of his life reasons.
The way he bullied the Gryffindors cannot be forgotten, people.
If it's like that, then people should be going around saying they're in love with Regulus or something because Regulus' story was almost like Snape's.
I geuss it has something to do with Alan Rickman playing Snape. :L
