"Yes, I'm coming!" I shouted back.
April was waving her arms in every direction, yelling my name. Sometimes, she didn't realize how embarrassing she was.
She wanted the homework I had done in advance. I didn't mind lending it to her once in a while.
I swung my backpack onto my shoulder and started across the road.
Out of the corner of my eye, I thought I saw a red shape. Coming towards me. Fast.
I didn't have the time to do anything. I heard several loud honks before blacking out.
