Chapter 1
Full Moon
(Stevens P.O.V)
My prey was screaming in terror; a small, teenage girl stood in front of me, blinded by fear. So blinded that she allowed me to kill her with no more than an awfully high-pitched scream. I thought about whom to have next, I decided to take the next in line.
Lucky for me, I was very greatly respected in this town. The villagers sacrificed their young for me when a full moon occurs; I can change whenever I like but only need to feed on a full moon.
I flashed my huge wolf-fangs, as I like to call them, and slit the throat of my next victim with them. He didn't have time to scream as I killed him too quick. But not quick enough to silence the curses directed at his mother, who cried out in agony when I took a chunk out of his torso. After that, I swallowed him down whole. I roared in approval, so that all the villagers knew that I was satisfied, and slowly padded away into the forest.
When I was out of sight, I replaced my werewolf body with my human one. I threw on the clothes I had thrown into the bushes earlier, and wandered further into the heart of my birthplace. I soon round a large, flat rock and sat on it, searching for any signs of trouble. I found none so I curled up into a ball and shut my eyes.
