Wow, I have heaps to be getting on with now that I have no worries pushing on me anymore. It's crazy! XD
Haha, I have a lot of things to post too, but like always, I'm too lazy. Plus I'm in the middle of my exams...
XD yeah but multi-tasking and balancing out all tasks is the only way you can keep organized. check due dates for homework, get the hard stuff like Math sorted and keep your favourites till last because then...while sorting the fun things in homework you can be doing a simple hobby ^^ It's how I've gone through school.
Well, I'm not in high school anymore so I have to organize my things differently. When I come home, I check the notes I made and mark them in my handbook and then make a summary of it. And let me tell you, it aren't just ten pages but thirty and sometimes even fifty for some classes...
wow, that's a lot of writing, I can't handle too much studying it's why I had specail need support in classes; even when I was in college I had it, you're much clever than me that's for sure. I feel really dumb now...
I'm not clever, really. I'm planning to stop my studies and find work. You see, I'm really sick of studying since I was in, what? 11th grade? And I really can't handle all the work I'm just sick of it. The problem is how to tell my mom...
hmm, I know I told my mum that it's about time I stopped studying and looked for possibly voluntry work where I help out someplace so I can put it on my CV. Like now, I am doing voluntry work at the secondary school I went to, and in the end of it all I may get a job out of it. :) Just tell your mum that mney is more important than studying.
She will contradict. I don't know how quick you get a job in England, but here in Belgium you practically won't get anywhere if you don't graduated from university or collage. AND they prefer people that have work experience. Which I have but not the proper one...
well that's a bummer. Here, if we don't get higher than a G or a U in grades we fail at upper school and we have no chance of university or college in fact. But I've got work experience from a playgroup, and I did college. :)
I have some experience with kids so maybe I should work in a toy shop or something. Or a game shop. I'm quite the gamer too. To annoyance of many :p
hmm, go for it, if you feel happy when thinking of a game shop idea then you should go with it.
Know any local game stores? ^^
I really don't know. For some reason, I want to just leave and travel the world and be some sort of adventurer like Indiana Jones. Not that I like the movies.
Local game stores? I live in Belgium so I have no idea what kind of game shops there are in England. We have Game Mania over here and an E Plaza and some multimedia stores sell some games too and that's about it.
hmm, well over here we don't have game stores for just games...but there's a store in a town called Bedford and that's called 'Games'. Hmm, well if I had to choose between Game Mania or E Plaza...I think I'd go for Game Mania. Just saying from which sounds most cool :)
Yeah, Game Mania is a great store. If you can't find the game you want there, you can always ask. The only thing is they don't order "illegal" games. I mean, games that you can get in the U.S.A. but not in Europe. I asked if they could order Tales of the Abyss for me but they said they didn't want to risk it. Oh well. I got the game on my 3DS now ^^
hmmm, I think Game Mania would be your best bet for getting a job. Tell them what you like about their store and what you like about how they run it...I'm sure you can think up other things but that's just a starter idea. I know a bit about game stuff as I'm actually doing a course for Games Designer so...:)
I was planning to apply for a job there anyway, but I'm not sure if they need help. And there's a new anime/manga store too but they're just open so I'm not sure if they can use a new employee yet.
Games Designer? Planning on making games? Sounds interesting, but I think that course is a tad too difficult for me. Isn't there a lot of math involved? I dunno, really.
well just going to see if that new store needs assistance once it opens properly is a good idea, but also keep going twice a week to Game Mania so they know your interested because they will have more than just you asking ^^
No, it's not really got much Math involved at all it's just reading through pages to understand stuff then you have to answer at least 20 questions; and the answers are in the contents that has been read within it's bindered book. Very simple really.
I don't have much time now to go to Game Mania every twice a week. I'll just ask if they need help and if not, I'll go the same store in the other part of town.
I don't really like reading text books, it makes me too tired. Like the course I do now. Reading more than 200 pages and answer 5 questions...
hmm, well I have to read 152 pages then have 20 questions to answer. I only started the night before last night and I'm now having only two or three more questions to answer and I'm on page 145 :D
