Belle's Modern Day Life (LaLaLuna's Contest)

I was walking the hallways of my high school. Getting pushed around hearing "Hey nerd" or "What is up Bookworm." I mean I am familiar with slang. I wasn't born last century. I don't understand why I am so hated. I mean sure I read a lot but it doesn't matter. And apparently the "hottest" guy in school likes me. I would never date him though he is so arrogant and full of himself. I bet if we ever got married he would expect me to do everything for him. To the dishes to the laundry. I have bigger plans. To become a president. Or something but I know my plans don't involve him. Maybe I will become an inventor like father. Everyone thinks Father is insane. the think I should lock him away. But I think father is brilliant. He makes all kinds of inventions some work, but others don't. As I headed down to PE I thought about how everyone is so surprised that I am very athletic. I mean how do I get to the library to get books. When I am in the locker room changing all the girls are talking about how hot Gaston is. "Ugh," I can't help but let it slip out of my mouth. Bad idea, I thought. Then all the girls heads looked at me. Briana was the first to speak," What is wrong with Gaston?" She was obviously annoyed. Nice going Belle, I thought. "Where to begin I know. He is annoying, arrogant, full of himself, has the IQ of an ant and doesn't show the slightest bit of attention to pretty girls like you. Bye." That was a close one.
