TheOnlyHopeForMeIsYou: 01-18-2012 at 4:35 PMwell i do have a bipolar parent so i know how you feel, well first have you talked to your mom/dad about it. my dad can be at times so i try to ask him about it when he is in a good mood and he is a good guy so he is constanly making promises to me that really have to do with himself. i am not someone who is big on family, but that doesnt mean i know how to deal with this stuff. so i would ask if they would promise to try and control their temper and anything else there is a problem with :)

Know that every patient has a different severity and the best thing possible (but the hardest) is to be patient, do your chores (relieving stress from both u and parent,) know that they will always love you even if they have a difficult time showing it and try not to make it your issue while supporting them through this rough time.
