Cause they want to feel superior.

Or they think it gives them an edge against you (as was the case I had to deal with.
Long story short, lies were spread, most people believed them, some still do, and I have to deal with the lies when those people bring them up. It didn't help that I was already infamous in high school. EVERYONE knew me by description, if they didn't know my name.)

But the people who truly believed them, and the ex who started them, are literal failures anyways :D

Yeah, I mean once high school is over nothing anyone says or does or think they know matters.
I just do find it funny that those in my year who graduated on time, graduated 2 years ago.
The people his group has either dropped out, aren't eligible to graduate till next year, or flunked out of college. (And only one of them even made to college.)

No one from that group is progressing. The sad part is, one of those guys has so much musical potential and talent, and ended up tossing it.
