I was completely bored when I wrote this. LOL. Please respond in the comments on what you thought of this story. I love to write, but never really got anyone's personal opinion on the poetry I wrote. So, this is a story in progress. I also know this goes against a little bit of what I said in my profile, but my friend wanted it that way. Oh well. Just letting you know, Taylor is a guy. Enough said.

Chapter 1

The Beginning...

My first day at school here. All the gossiping, nerd torturing, and popular people make up this "other" world. It's a mixture of jocks, theatrical lovers, geeks, drama queens, artists, you name it. Everyone's looking at me all weird. I'll just find my way to class with my head down. I DON'T want to be on the blackmail or nerd list this year. I catch glimpses of conversations about me. Let's see:

"Isn't she the new person you were telling me about?"

"I hear she gets clothes from the thrift store, and grew up only with her grandfather. No wonder why she has THOSE clothes!"

"I KNOW she WILL be on the nerd list this year. She got into Honors everything. Watch this."
"I don't think you sho-"

It was one comment some random jock said that tore it-

Charlie: "HEY! ISN'T YOUR NAME SIMMONE? DON'T WORRY, WE SAVED AN EXTRA SPACE JUST FOR YOU ON THE "NERD LIST". YOU'RE FIRST!!!!!! THE NERDS ARE JEALOUS NOW!!!!!!

Great. I already am. One thing I DID NOT want to happen. They used more hurtful vulgar words, but I'm not going to dare repeat them before I get more reminded mentally and emotionally.

So, as you can tell, my name is Simmone. I'm just your average kid from the other side of town. I had left all my friends, and came to a school my grandfather said would be "just perfect for me." Ha. Fat chance. I'm a geek so people DO NOT approach you. Where I was from, geeks were all over the place; it was rare if you weren't in a study group or if you didn't at least have a "study buddy." So here is very different. I had no friends and no date since Winter Formal was coming up; transferring in the middle of the year isn't exactly "cool" these days.  (At least that's what "people" think) I will be lucky if I even make a friend. OMG. I'm going to be a second late if I do not get to History!?!?!?! Geez. I have to go. Bye! dashes down the hall
