He never wanted to be bad, just to make his parents proud and do his best to keep them safe while underneath trying to make sure the right thing happened as well! He didn't rat out anyone (When it was important) and he didn't have the heart to kill a man who cared for him and wanted to help him get back on the right track and offered protection to

He's not sure what to do because he failed, he didn't want anyone hurt and his family could be in danger since it wasn't delivered to Dumbledore! So, Draco IS good, he's just had to make decisiions and do things some of us might never have to make and he made them at a young age. I love Draco and I think he's an interesting and largely misunderstood

This_is_who_i_am: 01-31-2012 at 9:23 PMi think he is good. he is not heartless. i think the malfoys were always reluctant. they wanted no part of it. he cares about his loved ones and didn't rat out anybody at malfoy manor. and he couldn't kill dumbledore and in dh part 2 when Harry "dies" he is hesitant to go over to voldemorts side.
