Don't you see why people friend you? Poeple act as if it's a popularity contest- the more friends you have, the better, even if you don't talk to them at all.
i friend people for substance. I friend them knowing I will read their stories, and vice versa.
I READ ALL OF YOUR STORIES. I LOOK AT EACH STORY EVEN IF IT INTERESTS ME, AND I READ THE FIRST CHAPTER. I THEN DECIDE HOW OFTEN I'LL CHECK IT OUT. BUT C'MON, GUYS!
You might not like Homestuck. Or MLP. Or Portal. But this is a site where I write my Pokemon fanfiction, and I expect the people who friended me because of that common interest to read my stories.
My story, A Glimpse of the Future, got TWO READS. TWO READS, ONE MINE to read the comment. I spent a good week writing the god-forsaken thing, and you guys don't have the decency to read what I wrote, to share with you!
It seems For The Good of All of Us was as popular as I could get. Come its sequel, I drop ten readers.
Oh, but look! I decide to write an HG fic, and everyone flips their shit and suddenly I am Little Miss Popular. So you know what? If you don't have the goddamn time to be an actual friend, I am going to delete. I don't care what you sat in the comments, it's not fair to me.

i admit it, sometimes i dont read stories but its usually because i come home to a crowded inbox with like 300 messages and dont have time to read all of them :( but i agree with you people act as if the one with most friends is the best, and i hate it when people are all "Hey can you add me i want 500 friends by march!" or something its annoying...but i usually do read the stories but sometimes laziness just overcomes me :P
I'm sorry... I read some stories, but during this week or so, I don't really have time...

I have always gotten more reads than most people, but still, it's in the 20-30 reads range, or maybe 5-10 range. I always read your stories, and I'm sorry if I don't comment or accidentally delete it, but I think your stories are really good. Nobody reads my fanfics. Nobody reads my sequels. But I make a Harry Potter Personality quiz and BAM, 300 views! People only read stories that they like the summary/title of. It's the sad truth...T-T

Okay...I'm going to be completely honest and tell you the truth. I don't read your stories..It's just that I don't know anything about pokemon or the OC stories. I don't understand. I tried looking at one of your pokemon and OC story and I couldn't get through it...I just didn't understand what I was reading. So yes, I am one of those people who don't read your stories but send something out that doesn't have to do with those 2 things, I will read it! Maybe not soon but I will! (behind on msgs)
Okay, before I write another OC story, I will post a profile for my characters. That way, you'll have an idea of what i'm talking about. Thanks for being open about it!
Sorry if I haven't been to reading some of your stories recently. I don't come on everyday anymore and I have a lot of unread messages. But I do read your stories. But, to be honest, I think you should calm down a little bit. I know you get fed up, but, er, maybe cool down a bit before you start talking/typing? I think you could've gotten your point across in a... milder manner, if that makes sense. I just like to avoid conflict. covers face with book Hope that wasn't offensive.

But now I have gotten more popular, and as many people have friemded me for my Pokemon stories, and they don't even read them. So I decided to take action.
