Very Sad Repost. Please Read!
When I read this, my heart literally broke. My tears are for all those that never got to say goodbye. Don't take what you have for granted. Live like each day could be your last.
Mummy...Johnny brought a gun to school
He told his friends that it was cool
And when he pulled the trigger back
It shot with a great crack
Mummy I was a good girl
I did what I was told
I went to school, I got straight A's, I even got the gold
But mummy when I went to school that day, I never said goodbye
I'm sorry mummy I had to go, but mommy please don't cry
When Johnny shot the gun he hit me and another
And all because he got the gun from his older brother
Mummy please tell daddy that I love him very much
And please tell Chris, my boyfriend, that it wasn't just a crush
And tell my little sister that she is the only one now
And tell my dear sweet grandmother that I'll be waiting for her now
And tell my wonderful friends that they were always the best
Mummy I'm not the first I'm no better than the rest
Mummy tell my teachers I won't show up for class
And never to forget this and please don't let this pass
Mummy why'd it have to be me no one deserves this
Mummy warn the others, mummy I left without a kiss
And mummy tell the doctors I know they really did try
I think I even saw a doctor trying not to cry
Mummy I'm slowly dying with a bullet in my chest
But mummy please remember I'm in heaven with the rest
Mummy I ran as fast as I could when I heard that crack
Mummy listen to me if you would
I wanted to go to college
I wanted to try things that were new
I guess I'm not going with daddy
On that trip to the new zoo
I wanted to get married
I wanted to have a kid
I wanted to be an actress
Mummy I wanted to live
But mummy I must go now
The time is getting late
Mummy tell my Chris
I'm sorry but I had to cancel the date
I love you mummy I always have
I know you know it's true
Mummy all I wanted to say is "mummy I love you"
In memory of the Colombian students that were lost

ik I read this story and reposted it to... It brike my heart I cried all night when I read it and it still brings me to tears...
me too. i had to read it like 3 times, though, cuz it's just so sad. I cried every time!
Sad. I'v seen this before about a year ago.. its still going around. It shows ya though. We never know if we are going to live to see tomorrow or not. It tells us that we should do what we want while we can. If we wait we may never get to do the things we wanted. Hey this reminds me of the song by Nickelback called "If Today Was Your Last Day". I love that song. XD. BTW "Do not Pity the dead. Pity the Living." sorry cant resist :D
I guess it's just the fact that they never got to say they're last goodbyes. No one deserves to die like that. But, there's nothing I can do about it. I think I've heard that song. And LOVE the quote!!!! :)
Aye. That was like many of the deaths in Harry Potter. Real or not they are still sad. :(. Yea youtube the song lyrics if you wanna hear it again. And yes I never run out of Harry Potter or Pirates of the Caribbean quotes haha. :P

Yeah it is like many of the deaths from Harry Potter. And they're more than sad, Remus and Tonks really broke my heart. It made me appreciate life, really. It just goes to show you that death is going to come one day and you have to accept it, whether you die of old age or of fighting to defend the people you love. You never know how much time you have left, and some people never get to say "goodbye."

I SO wish we all knew each other for real. You guys would be my best friends! Almost none of my friends really like Harry Potter, and none appreciate it as much as I do. I can't make funny HP jokes or references cuz they all look at me like I'm a freak (which sometimes I can be, I'll give them that.) :)

wow. you're story really touched me. im soooooo sorry for your loss. it's amazing how JK Rowling has helped most of us in so many different ways, through the good and the bad. She has given us a place to cry, to laugh, to seek advice, the list goes on and on. She truly is our queen!
