Learn to forgive, but never forget
Accept the mistakes, but never regret
For all the best things in life are the things you have now
And when you get new things, you'll wish the old things were around

So live in the moment
And expect nothing less
Because knowing a person like you
Can only result in the best

Some people say best friends
Are very hard to find
I shrug and say, "No problem,
Because the best ones are mine."

True friends are common
You have them through the years
But they differ from a best friend
Because only one can make you smile through the tears

A million people know my name
And they say it all the time
But when you say it, it's different
You put the sparkle in my eye

They tell you to be yourself
And then they judge you for it
Who is "they" you ask?
Anyone who is soarin'

Remember never to give up
On something that's always on your mind
If you can't get it outta your heard
Maybe it's found its place over time

Trying to forget someone
That's in your heart forever
Is like trying to remember someone
That you've never met ever

Love is a cycle
You fall into it
But you get right back up
Until you fall again

You have to love yourself
For who you truly are
To get someone else to love you
Without loving yourself, you won't get very far

If every night, you close your eyes
And every morning you wake up
With one thing on your mind
If that's for happiness, let it stay, but for pain, get it unstuck

Trust is like a piece of paper
Once it's crumpled, it can't be perfect
It's also like an eraser
With every mistake, it's smaller than when it was worth it

I like it when you smile
It makes me want to live
It shows me how life really works
What love really is

True friends buy you lunch
That's what a nice person does
But a best friend sits and eats your lunch
With the exclamation, "Yum!"

Every time I dial your phone number,
Then think twice.
Because it doesn't
