"Hey feeling better?" Kaityln asked. "Yeah..everything still hurts though." I replied. "Well you'll be out of here soon." she smiled. "I hope so." I smiled back. "Kaitlyn?" I asked. "Yes?" "Will you be my girlfriend?" I asked. Her beautiful eyes lit up. "Of course!" she hugged me. "Oh yeah I got you something." Kaitlyn pulled out a small teddy bear. I held onto the stuffed animal. "Thanks. I love it!" I said. "There's more. She went out into the hall and came back with a silver balloon with the words "Get Well Soon" in cursive written in pink letters. "Aww you didn't have to do that." I stated.
"I wanted to. You deserve it." she smiled and leaned down and kissed me. A nurse came in the doorway. "Alex, there's a visitor here to see you." It was my dad. My eyes widened and I got stiff. Maybe he'll go away... I thought. But he stepped closer into the room. Uh-ohhh..
