The Great Escape

"I'm fine mom.." I mumbled into my phone. I'd been sent on this stupid cruise and was supposed to get off on the last stop and stay with my aunt and uncle. Whom I hated.
"Are you sure? I mean you don't have to lie to me. I just want to make sure. You've never been away from home longer than a month..." I sighed.
"I'm sure. Go hang out with what's his face." She sighed in frustration.
"His name is John honey. And you should start acting nicer towards him..." I rolled my eyes and at that moment was very happy she couldn't see it.
"I will when I get back in six months. Goodbye..." She sighed and bid farewell while hanging up. I looked up at the sunny sky and leaned against the fold-out chair.
"A pretty lady like you really shouldn't be out here alone..." I opened my eyes to see just another one of the annoying flirts on this cruise.
"Especially wearing such a small bikini..." I rolled my eyes.
"ou know if you're going to flirt,go find somebody else. One wearing not 'such a small bikini'..." I stood up and grabbed my shirt and shorts as I walked back in.

The first thing I hear as I open my eyes is the captain telling us to grab life jackets. Sadly I got one of the cheapest rooms so I had no life jacket unless I went up to the deck. I sighed and grabbed my shoes and slipped them on as I ran out to do as the captain said. Just as I had my hand on a life jacket the boat tipped violently and I was thrown overboard.
This is what I get for being so damned tiny... I thought as my eyes closed,waiting for the impact of water. I heard the splash and opened my eyes underwater. I could see a couple of other people thrown overboard also but they were rescued by dinghy's. I swam to the surface and yelled for help. Nobody heard me and continued without me.
"Just my luck..." I took a deep breath and went back under before swimming as fast as I could.

I swam ashore a little island and crawled up onto the sand. I stood up shakily and looked out.
Please don't be the only one.... I started to walk in search of more people and saw a group of people.
"Thank God!" I grinned and ran over to them.
"Hey another person!"
Now who's blonde....
