The Club (Zach)

by: PanPride
“Let’s go down to the club,” Mark told me after we finished our forty-eighth dance recital.
“We’ve been dancing since we were three, one dance recital a season, let’s wait two more seasons then go to the club.” I told him.
“Zach, we need to get out there and live. We’re fifteen and haven’t ever been on dates.” Mark groaned.
“You go; I’m just going to practice a little more.” I told him. Mark ignored my response and dragged me to the door.
“We are going.” He said. I laughed and followed him down the street to the club. He paid for the two of us to get in, and we went inside. I immediately noticed the group at the corner dancing.
“Forget about ballet, and try some hip hop,” Mark said punching my shoulder.
I finally agreed and moved to the beat. I kept watching that group at the corner.
“Come on Sarah, you’re the best dancer,” I heard one of them say. At first I thought the Sarah person would have been an ugly guy, but turns out that the person was a super hot girl that I was immediately crushing on.
“You know, they go to the Frince Academy, they’re all rich kids.” Mark said seeing where I was looking. I nodded and decided to leave.
“I’m heading home; it’s been a long day.” I told Mark. The song changed to something by Ke$ha and I watched that whole group in the corner start walking towards the exit.
“Good luck getting through that group, I’ll see you tomorrow at Glee club.” Mark said laughing. Sarah brushed past me and dropped her purse.
“Sorry, Luke go start the car, I’ll be out in a minute” She told one of the guys. All of the people she was with left her then.
“You dropped this,” I said giving her back her purse.
“Thanks… you’re kind of cute,” She whispered. She grabbed her purse and handed me a slip of paper. Quickly she left the club with the rest of her friends. I didn’t know until the next morning that the piece of paper she handed me had her phone number on it.
