The Glass Doll
An old glass doll sits in a box alone in a abandoned attic. She has seen many generations of children explore the house. But they never cared or were to scared to look on the highest floor. But one day, it all changed.
At the top she looked around. There was nothing but a box by the window. She looked down into the box. There sat a glass doll. "What a lovely doll!" Said Lexis. She picked it up. Its hair was tangled and dull. The dress was stiffened and stained. "Ill take you home and clean you up!" Cried Lexis, happy to have some sort of friend.
A smile crept along the doll's face as she was carried out the door and away from the house.
