The sun was rising. The birds were twittering. In the snowy forest, a baby girl was lying in the snow with only a blanket to protect her. A desperate father had left her there after his wife had died in childbirth. Then he, too, died, from starvation. Meanwhile, a she-wolf was taking its morning walk through the icy forest. Glint found the babe, all alone. It had almost white-blonde hair and icy blue eyes. Her name was Dawn.
