Petahh!

Hey! SO last night I went to my 2nd Peter Frapmton concert, 35th anniversary of Frampton Comes Alive...in the "city" of Portland, Maine. Great place...you should come here. ~o~
I went to his concert 4 years ago I think...it was my first ever. :P

So I went with my mom and this girl she works with that's like 29, Tiffany.
By the end....Tiffany was pretty hammered. I wasn't sure that she could drive home. :/ She could barely walk back to the car, let aloneBtw...she has a son named Julian. Yeah, you guessed right...after Julian Lennon. She says she always sings "Hey Jules" to him at night.

But we went out to eat before, and we were sitting in the restaurant for literally an hour, and all we had gotten was our drinks. So we just left because it was fifteen minutes before the show and everyone was leaving.

It was freezing and we had to walk a long way. BUT....while we were walking, I found this AMAZING little shop!!! It was closed, but there were records in the window...there was Abbey Road, the Doors, and a Monkees album too! So I made my mom promise we would go back there some time.

So we got in line to go inside, and there were these two middle-aged dudes, like in their thirties, and they were talking about if they smelled like pot. They did. Bad.
My mom turned around and said "Yeah. You do."
But they were so nice, they were like "Oh! I'm so sorry!" blah blah blah, but then they started talking to us, and Tiffany is a HUGE Aerosmith fan, so she showed them her Aerosmith necklace, and we somehow got on to the topic of me being a Beatles fan. One guy was like, "Oh wow! That's a rareity!" I was thinking Umm...what world do you live in?!?!?

So after the opening song, Peter was talking, I didn't catch all of it, but then he said, "So if you're smoking a joint, it's okay." And everybody laughed. xD

The show was AMAZING! I'm not a huge Frampton fan or anything, but he is an amazing musician and guitar player! He was frickin wailing on that thing! And of course, his talk box was awesome!
In between songs, it was dead silent, and this guy screams "PETER FVCKING FRAMPTON!!!" Even Peter himself started laughing! xD It was good.

So we were going to leave a little early, because we still needed to eat, but my mom said we needed to wait because he usually played While My Guitar Gently Weeps, so obviously I did.
And he did. It was amazing. It was beautiful. I was standing up like in front of everyone dancing with Tiffany, and I was wearing my Abbey Road shirt.
After the song ended, I kinda yelled, "WE LOVE YOU GEORGE HARRISON!"
People looked at me wierd, but hey, what do I care? Then we left.

I got home at 1:30 I think...so I got about 4 hours of sleep. -_- I didn't think I was tired at all, but I could not stop laughing for the life of me today. And I almost fell asleep in pretty much every class. So I guess I am.

I took some videos, but they weren't as good as I thought they were. But hopefully I'll get them up sometime soon.
