OMGYAHOOEY!!! You don't have to read, I'm just really excited!!!!!

Okay, so in English class, people kept whispering things behind my back. I felt really uncomfortable, because I thought they were spreading rumors about me or something. I finally walked up to my best friend and asked her what was up.

"They're saying that Josh was writing a note. On the front it said, "To: Hali From: Josh".

I gulped. He's my crush.

"Why?" I asked her.

"I don't know. Check your desk. He might've snuck it in there."

Josh's a sneaky, sort of shy, funny, nice guy.

I walked over to my desk and started to dig through it. I couldn't find it anywhere. I relaxed.

That's annoying, I thought.

Later that day, as I was walking to computer class, Josh met me in the halls.

"Um... Hali?" He asked nervously.

"Yeah?"

"Well... Um... I was just wondering if... If... You like me. Because I like you. If you don't, please tell anyone I said this."

I could see his fingers were twitching.

"Joshua, of course I do! I've had a crush on you since 4th grade!" I felt a little bit awkward saying this, but also relieved. I had gotten it out.

Josh relaxed. "That's great! I've really got to go to physics. I can't be late again. Here's my phone number." He took out the piece of paper from his pocket and handed it to me. It said To: Hali From: Josh on the front. I assumed it was the letter that everyone had been gossiping about. "See you in math class!" He smiled and waved at me.

I waved and smiled back.
