We'll Take Everybody By Storm (A StarKid Story)
Danielle and I decided to write a story together...cause...well... Dana O'Hughes.

"YOU DO?! OHMYGOD! YAY! I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU! AH! DID YOU KISS?! WHAT HAPPENED?! TELL ME EVERYTHING!!!" I yelled into the phone. My neighbor banged on the wall to let me know I was too loud.
"Chill, Geena! This is why I was ignoring you earlier. I knew you'd be crazy."
I giggled. "Just tell me!"
"Fine. So. He got to my house a couple minutes early, and we had to find my shoes cause they went missing--"
"Again?!" I interjected.
She sighed. "Don't interrupt. But yes. And after we found them, we got in the car and we were headed to the resteraunt and I told him I didn't do this much and he was like 'but you go home with guys drunk?' and then he was apologizing, and we got there. He's a chatter. He wouldn't let me pay the bill, but I did get the tip. So then he brought me home and he was a gentlemen and he walked me to the door and before he left, he kissed my cheek. That's all."
"That's all?! But when did you realize you like him?! Did you want more than just a kiss on the-- Go away!" I turned my attention to my puppy-like boyfriend.
"What?" Danielle asked. Darren pouted, his bottom lip sticking out. Oh, God...
"Not you, Danielle, I'm talking to Darren."
"Why is Darren there?"
I pushed him away, causing him to fall off the couch. "Cause we were having a movie night before you called. Anyways, I'm making him go away so I can talk to you."
"That's not fair!" my boyfriend said from the floor, but got up and went into my room to wait.
"Okay, now... YOU LIKE HIM!"
"Yes," she mumbled. I could almost see her roll her eyes.
"AHHHH! GOOD! YAY! So, uh... Any particular reason why?"
"I like Brian because he accepts me for who I am. He knows that I'm not comfortable with dating and things and he doesn't try to push me to do anything. He's just there for me, like when he fixed my car. He's like a little hero. And I feel bad that I can't just return the way he feels but it's more complicated than that and I have other things to deal with and it's just... ugh." She paused to let everything sink in before adding, "Plus there's AJ and I don't even know about him. Like... I really don't know. But Brian makes me happy and hey. He's pretty hot too."
"Whoa! Wait... When did AJ come into this?!" Now I was just confused.
"I mean... He likes me, I think. And, like, maybe I could have some feelings for him? I don't know. I said it before. I don't know."
"Are you finally off the phone?!" Darren yelled.
"Just hung up!"
He came out of my room and jumped onto the couch, grabbing me in a hug. "You're so adorable."
"What did you find in there?" I asked, suddenly going stiff.
"Nothing! Well, like, I started reading your copy of Harry Potter, but I didn't find anything private!"
"What do you mean you didn't find anything?!" I shrieked.
Darren laughed and kissed me. "I only read Harry Potter. I solemnly swear."
"Soooo... Are Brian and Danielle a couple now?!"
"No. But we can't talk about it with other people, okay?"
I raised my eyebrows. "They... Danielle... Just... No."
"Okay, then!" He shook his head and buried his face on my shoulder. He said something, but his voice was so muffled, I couldn't exactly hear.
"Nevermind, it was stupid."
"Darren, you're blushing."
He shook his head. "No I'm not!"
"Yes you are! What did you say?!"
"I didn't say anything."
"Yes you did!"
"I was..." he looked around and sat up. "I was singing."
"What were you singing, then?"
I pouted now, crossing my arms and jutting my bottom lip out. "Obviously it was something! And you just don't want to tell me!"
He laughed and brought me close to him, kissing me once on the head. "Okay, fine. I was saying something." He kissed my nose. "I said..." He kissed my lips. "I love you."
"Oh. Well. I love you, too."
He smiled. "Oh, good!"
I pulled his face to mine and kissed him, smiling into it and wishing time could stay in this moment, not moving forward, forever and ever.
