Does the guy I like, like me back?

Please read this first: So I like this guy but he is shy. He usually hangs out with a group of people and around them he is pretty social. When he is around others he is shy but still talks to them. When he is around me though, he is very shy and doesn't talk to me. He doesn't talk to me though. I'd say hi and he'd walk away. I sometimes catch him looking at me before he turns away or I see the quick turn of the head. Sometimes he shows signs he likes me but other times he doesn't show any.
