Red and Green MY FIRST REAL STORY

Okay so I would be lying if I said that I wasn't still in shock over the events that have transpired over the last week. First I get a letter from the Domivian Council inviting me to enter a contest that could win me 50,000 locks (for you humans out there that's about 1000 dollars, may not seem like much but ever since my dad died I needed all the help I could get for my family) Then I wake up one morning not in my bed, but on a skater, which is basically like a flying train i suppose. Anyway there are two guys across from me and one next to me, they are asleep. Were in some kind of compartment and I can here people talking outside. The door is made out of some weird glass so all i can see outside is a bunch of blurry figures.
Normally i would've been freaked out by this but i figured this MUST be apart of the competition. I reach for the door handle, it's freezing, I slide it open a bit. There are four girls in a compartment across from me. There's this dark haired girl with light brown skin,talking really fast, about who knows what, she seems to be talking in another language. Then there's a red haired girl next to her carefully brushing her hair, across from her is a girl with dark hair that stops at her neck, her eyes are creepy they look like they keeping changing colors, must be the light. She keeps exchanging looks with a blonde girl next to her. BORING. I close the compartment door to find that three guys in my compartment are wide awake. I learn the mean looking scar faced guy across from me is Malcolm. The really blonde guy next to him is Anthony and the guy next to me is Noc.
"What kind of name is Noc", Anthony asked
"Its a nickname, when I was little I used to get into a lot of fights, so they would call me Noc...you know like Knock you out"
"Oh, well you must've been fun to hang out with as a kid", Anthony said.
Noc shrugged "I thought I was".
Then a big booming voice appeared out of nowhere.
"Welcoming trainees, I hope you all have had a nice rest", the voice was strangely robotic." From now until the competition is over you will each be on one of two teams, Red or Green".
All of a sudden the compartment doors slid up into the roof, and the seats stared shifting around. Anthony's seat slid to the other side of the skater, whereas Noc, Malcolm and My seat slid to the wall closest to us. Our side of the wall suddenly glowing red, and the other wall glowing green. There were eight people on the green wall so I assumed there were eight on this wall to.
" These are your new team members, working together will be the key to winning this competition", the robot voice said, and then it sort of fizzled off. Then all of a sudden doors from both end of the skated opened out came a man from each end, one wearing on the right was wearing green mask and one on the left was wearing a red mask. The guy with the green came down the hall and stopped in front of the creepy eyed dark haired girl. He pulled something out of his pocket.
"You first", he said. I think he was trying to be intimidating, but that kind went down the drain when he spoke, he sounded like a unatrually high pitched girl. He bent down on one knee and there was this buzzing sound.
The girl next to me, gasped
"Oh no, not tattoos", she whispered. i was confused at first until he stood up and the girl had a bright green swirly thing on her wrist.. The guy in the green mask then proceeded to do the other seven green team members before he left the way he entered. The the red masked guy came down and stopped in front of the red head who was still brushing her hair. He gave her a tattoo of a bright red triangle, well it was almost a triangle but the bottom didn't really connect, he did all the rest of my team. I would be lying if I said it didn't hurt, it felt like he was branding me or something, but I didn't show any pain. Too bad the blonde girl next to me didn't follow my lead, she just about passed out before he even touched her, and when he finished she threw up and the masked tattoo guy slipped in it.
I expected him to strangle blondie, but instead he reached in his pocket and pulled out a collapsible mop, mopped up all the puke and then left. It would've been pretty awkward after that except for the robotic voice called over the intercom "Launch initiated".My seat belt buckled itself and suddenly the Skater fell from underneath me and i was falling through the air, screaming like a maniac, until something jerked behind me. I looked back to see an enormous pair of wings sprouting of my chair and flying me down to the ground.
When I landed I would have kissed the ground but blondie was getting puke happy again, so I just decided to stretch instead.
Up ahead of us, there were two glowing dome like things coming out of the ground, one red one green. They were huge.
" Make it to your team house, without losing a member." The robot voice said. I was wondering what she meant, when the forest behind us started ruffling. Out came about eight puffles. Cute name sure, not cute creatures, they were these weird humanoid looking creatures with razor sharp teeth and claws. They had big black feathery wings sprouting from behind them, horns on their head, tails with spikes sticking out of them, and fur rust colored fur covering every inch of their body.
There was a few paralysing moments when both teams just froze and screamed, and then we all ran towards the domes. I didn't have to look up to know they were flying above us, and the growling behind me told me they were running on foot to. Up ahead I saw stuff glistening on the ground. When i got closer I realized their were swords, and daggers, spears, and shields littered across the ground. Now if you were in my position your probably would've been smart and picked one of the weapons and to defend yourself. But me, being the moron I am thought they were there to trip us, so I stared kicking them out of the way. Lucky that a blonde girl from the compartment across from me earlier had the right idea and started to pick up weapons and chunk them at the puffles. Too bad her aim sucked. However the fast talking girl threw one and beheaded one of the puffles, too bad she was on the green team. Soon though everyone was throwing sharp objects at the puffles. However Noc either had bad aim or he must've been confused because he threw his spear at a blonde guy who was behind him and it pierced him through the leg, he yelled out and hit the ground. I would've kept running if that guy hadn't been on the red team. So I turned around like the hero I am, dragging Noc with me, and we carried him between us. When we finally got to the red dome, everyone stopped outside it, afraid to go in. There was no time for fear right now, we had to go in or be eaten alive by puffles. So i carried the blonde guy in along with Noc, when we got inside, I felt my jaw drop.
