Today, Silicon Valley-based Tesla Motors, Inc., unveiled the Tesla Model X, an all-electric SUV that will go from 0-60 mph in under 5 seconds. It is number 3 on Google’s most-searched terms this morning. The company began taking reservations today for the car, which will sell for between $55,000 and $75,000.
Would you pay that much for an electric car? Consider a 100-mile-per-charge electric vehicle with a cost of $5 per charge. What cost point would send you to buy an electric car.
