Chapter 1
The Day I Lost My Mommy
I held onto my Mommy's hand tightly recalling what she said.
"Ok Emily dear we are going out to the city and i want you to stay very close to me. This city is very big and you can easliy get lost in it."
I nodded my head at her and we went off.
People say i am very smart for my age. In fact once my Daddy took me somewhere to take an IQ test and everyone was shocked at my reslut. I asked what was wrong and they said i had the IQ of 105. Of course, being as smart as i was i knew why everyone was so shocked. I smiled brightly to myself as i rememberd that day.
"Emily keep up hunny"
"Yes Mommy"
I had been daydreaming so much that my pace slowed down. I ran by her side gripping her hand tightly. Today we were moving to North Carolina and we were walking to the airport while Daddy took the luggage on a taxi.
Suddenly I bumped into someone and fell down. Mommy kept going not noticing me fall.
"Mommy!" I screamed.
She couldn't here me through the crowd.
When I got up she was no where to be seen.
I was lost in New York City.
