Going Away But Still Being With You
I lifted up out of the bed to see Michael standing there still doing sound effects like an alarm. I lightly punched his arm. He stopped.
"Ow...." he pouted. "Well looks like somebody slept on the wrong side of the bed last night."
I threw a pillow at him. He glared at me. "You shouldn't have done that," he grabbed the same pillow and jumped on the bed.
I grabbed another pillow and rolled to the other side of the bed and stood up on it. We both started jumping on the bed while having a pillow fight.
We were laughing so hard that we could barely breath, my side was starting to hurt from all the laughing.
I tripped Michael and he fell onto the bed, he grabbed my ankle and pulled me down; causing me to land on top of him.
We laughed while staring each other in the eyes. He lifted his hand up and caressed my cheek with his thumb.
"I'm so glad that you got into that time machine. I would've never met you. My best friend," he smiled at me. Love flashed across his eyes as they flickered from my eyes to my lips.
"Mic-" he silenced me by pressing his lips against mine quickly then pulling away.
He was blushing madly; I raised up off of him and sighed.
"I promise that was it, I won't do anything more. I just wanted to kiss you," he confessed.
I sighed. I looked at him and smiled. "OK, but just this once while I'm here k?"
He nodded smiling, he took my hand in his and kissed it lightly.
Suddenly a strong pain ran through my body, I winced but couldn't speak because it hurt too much.
"Cassie! What's wrong!? Cassie?!" Michael grabbed me and hugged me tightly as my hands started to disappear. Suddenly, pitch black darkness.
He was gone, the daylight was gone, all sound except for my breathing was gone.
Then in a flash I was thrown into a tree, getting the air knocked out of me in the process. I lifted myself slowly, groaning from the aching of my body.
"Where the heck am I now?" I asked myself. "This doesn't look like 1982."
I saw some news reporters at the gate of the property I was on and listened in on what the news lady was saying.
"Here we are on a warm California day, we're here at the gates of Michael Jackson's Neverland Valley Ranch, hoping to get a glance of him as he welcomes children from cancer hospitals into his property for a play day.
They singer has just got back from finishing is tour for his latest album Dangerous. Hopefully we will se him and his wife Lisa Marie her momentarily," she announced.
"Oh my goodness. I'm in the 90's now? And Lisa is here.... Grr...." I growled angrily thinking of her. I never liked that woman.
