The 73rd annual hunger games

I woke up with Finnick standing over me. "GAH!"
"Sorry, your mom let me in and told me to wake you for breakfast"
"OK then" I got up and realized i was just wearing short and a tank top. I throw on some pants and a tee and run down stairs. "What's for breakfast?"
"Pancakes" She said with a frown.
"Oh no...." sat down at the table. It was reaping day. Two years ago Finnick's name was called and he went to the arena. We ate in silence in our small hut. He had offered to let us move in to Victors village with him but my father said no. After breakfast we went to the square for the big event. I went to the girl's side with my sister and best friend Miki. "Hopefully none of us get picked" I said with a look to Finnick on the other side. He smiled and gave me a reassuring look. I gulped and smiled back.
"Shhh. Its starting." Miki said snapping me out of my day dream.
"Hello District 4, welcome to reapping!" Her voice was high and girly, yet sounded like nails on a chalk bored. "First the female tribute." She pulled the name out of the bowl. I looked at Finnick. "ODESSA EVERETT!" My heart dropped. I heard Finick call out as i walked up the stairs. "The male. Alex Lumpkin." I looked at him as he walked up on to the stage. I nodded my head and looked at the crowed. The last thing I saw was Finnick being dragged away before everything went black.
