Hogwarts Story: Ella's Life Story

P.S. Sorry if I said she's a 'distant' relative of Neville. She's his great-niece.
This is the story about Ella Longbottom.
Prologue
"Ella. Her name is Ella." said new mother Diane Longbottom.
"Perfect." said her husband, Derek Longbottom. But he was really thinking about his sister, who had died 2 years ago.
She never stood a chance, he thought. That man is like a 2nd Voldemort. And I wasn't Harry Potter, there to save her.
"Isn't she beautiful, Derek?" He was pulled out of his thinking by his wife.
"Yes. Very pretty." Then he remembered his promise with his sister. She could hear her words ringing in his head like it was yesterday. 'If I die here, you gotta promise me you'll tell Diane you're a wizard someday.' But he'd tell her later. The shock would be too much for her.
"Diane, I better get to work now."
"Go on. Visit me tomorrow though."
Derek left the hospital and got into his small car. Starting the car, he drove past the downtown streets, until he was at Privet drive. But a young child playing ball ran across the street, and Derek swerved, unfortunately, into another car.
There was a huge amount of pain, and he couldn't think, because then, he couldn't be revived anymore.
The real Chapter 1
I walk downstairs for my 10th birthday, the day I hit double digits. Mom invited Jenny and Analyn, plus a few of my classmates.
"Happy Birthday, Ella!" yells Jenny. She runs up and gives me a hug.
"Thank yoooouuu!" I yell back. Everyone is waiting there with huge amounts of gifts for me and I can clearly see the big blue heart-shaped cake that my mom is trying to hide.
"Ella, what games are we gonna play?" squeaks one of my spunky tall classmates. Somehow most people I know, including me, are tall and skinny. I don't know why.
"You guys'll pick."
"Yay!" Analyn smiles a wide smile at me.
"We're going to eat first, then play games, watch a movie, and then give out presents."
"What about the cake?"
"Oh, yes. Then the cake after that."
After a few hours, the party was over.
"Ella, I need to talk to to you." Analyn pulls me over to the side while everyone leaves.
"What?"
"I'm a wizard."
"A what-ard?"
"A wizard. And you're one too. I saw you make the spinner stop where you wanted it to be. That's a sign."
"I don't understand."
"You'll see." And she leaves me standing there, clueless.
