Look But Don't Touch (Michael Jackson Love Story)
Chapter 1
The New Angel Of Death
The country is beautiful, but at night it can be dangerous.
Mystique drove down the widing country road. The headlights allowing her to see what was ahead. The half moon shone brightly through the trees as if watching her. The radio played softly and Mystique sang along quietly. It was a beautiful night. She smiled remembering her day. But now she was determined to get home and hop into that huge bed of hers.
Without warning a deer jumped out in front of Mystique's car. She swerved out of reflex.
Her blue Mazda rolled off the road and began tumbling down a steep hill. Mystique screamed as the windows shattered. Glass flew all around the car and stabbed her face. The Mazda continued to roll, bending its frame, until it wrapped around a tree.
Mystique slowly got out of her stuck seatbelt and fell onto the ceiling of the upside down car. Pain shot through her body and she screamed. Her left leg was bent unnaturally, but she continued to crawl out of the totaled Mazda. She slid across dirt and glass, but she was determined to free herself of the car.
As she slid there was a stabbing pain in her stomach. She screamed in pain. Mystique rolled over to see a shard of glass sticking out of her stomach. She cried and wrapped her hand around it, but the slightest movement caused her the greatest of pain.
Tears streamed down her face as she looked back to see that only her legs were still in the car. She began pulling herself acrossed the dirt.
Just then a piece of glass from her window fell and entered the flesh of her right leg. Mystique screamed and used the last of her energy to pull herself free of the totaled car.
She rolled on her side and looked at her leg. The glass was stuck in her calf muscle.
"Help me, God." she cried as she laid her head back on the dirt.
She tilted her head up to see no passing cars or people walking. The moon shone down on her giving her some sort of light.
Mystique began to get deathly pale. Unable to breathe, she looked up one last time at the empty highway that seemed to be so far away.
She slowly outstretched her hand to a figure that was walking towards her.
Michael sat up breathless. He put his hand to his head and sighed.
"It was so real." he whispered to himself.
Michael could smell the blood, feel the night wind on his body. It seemed too real to be a dream. He wanted to help her, get her to a hospital. He remembered the way she looked at him. She was pale. As pale as the moon. Dark circles around her blue eyes and her trying to reach him. With her last breath.
"It was just a dream." Michael said feeling the chills run down his spine.
"I wish it was just a dream too." Mystique said with her arms folded.
Her ice blue eyes watched Michael flop back down on his bed. She felt a hand on her shoulder.
"You sure you want to do this?" the man concealed in black asked.
Mystique lowered her eyes. She nodded.
"It's not like being a normal ghost. You can't touch anyone unless its their time. You cannot love. And only those who are dying can see you." he said.
Mystique nodded.
"No one sould have to suffer and wait for death to come on its own." she said her eyes flickering to him. "At least I can take their pain away."
The both of them disappeared from Michael's ranch without Michael ever knowing of their presence.
