The Baron (a love story)

Reads: 2 | Chapters: 2 |

This is an original story (obviously lol sorry) All the characters are made purely from my imagination. It's a love story about a really wealthy teenage boy in the early 1900s and he meets a poor girl and she teaches him how to love and wear his heart out on his sleeve (be obvious about what you're feeling inside)
It might seem really confusing at first but olease bear with me okk?
Soo yeaa.. Hope you like it :D

Chapter 1

Foolishness

The front courtyard seemed so far away from where he sat, in solitude. The echoes of laughter kept playing in his head. His expression never seemed to differ as he watched the children down below play foolish games while laughing. As if playing such games was the best, most fun thing in the world. But, his world was much different from that of the children’s.
The gentle sound of loneliness rebounded against the dark red walls, each wall throwing the lonesome sound to the other end. The only light, shining on them from the high noon. The spotlight illuminated the piano and its player. His blank stare only interrupted by the temporary urge to blink.
His hands suddenly slammed against the keys in frustration. "How childish they are! To act like they don't have a care in the world, as if they are oblivious to this world. As if this world isn't here. But, are we really here? Does this world even exist?"
The boy turned his head toward the piano, stared straight ahead, and whispered to the empty room, "But...would it all change if I should happened to be involved in such child's play..?"
"Does anything really stay the same as time progresses? Knowledge and thoughts are two completely different things. Thoughts you are born with while knowledge is something you gain over time."
The stuffed bear on the piano was silent, as if it never spoke, but of course it hadn't for that would be absurd. Or would it? Would it be so absurd to listen to yourself when you don't speak?
