I care! I just don't write as often as I used to because of my wifi.
Also, you made the deadline really quickly, and you said that it had to be a new story entirely. Maybe if you made the deadline longer (like a month or so) and told everyone that they could use a story they've already been writing, and just have them write a new chapter, ya know?
Maybe then more people would do it. I would :)
